Co-gardeners are only helpers and have no rights to the garden. A co-gardener cannot sign in for meetings or cleanups, but they still should have they names on the application form. You are referring to joint-gardeners, both have to sign-up at the time when they receive a plot. Joint-gardeners (either person) can sign in for meetings and cleanups, only 4 meetings and 2 cleanups are required between the joint-gardeners. Joint-gardeners have a right to the garden, so if one person leaves, the other person can still maintain/keep that garden plot. Payment is for the garden plot only, so each joint-gardener does not pay for dues and fees, only one payment of $25.00 for both. If you have any other questions, please let me know.
